EasyAdd
A calculator that adds feet, inches and fractions the way your tape measure reads them.
A normal calculator makes you turn 1' 2½" into decimals and back again. EasyAdd takes the measurement as you read it off the tape and gives the answer the same way, exact to the sixteenth.

What it does
- 01Fraction keys for eighths and sixteenths. Rounded answers are marked ≈, so you know.
- 02A live answer as you type, memory keys and the last 50 calculations.
- 03Area and volume in square feet, cubic feet and cubic yards. Mix in metric when the plans do.
- 04Concrete in yards and in 60 lb and 80 lb bags, with a waste allowance.
- 05Stairs — risers, treads, run, stringer length and angle — with a warning when a step falls outside residential code.
- 06Board feet with total cost. A big, high-contrast tape-yellow display that works with VoiceOver.
For the job site
Carpenters, contractors and anyone with a tape on their belt. The app opens to the calculator, the keys are big enough for a gloved thumb, and the display is the colour of the tape so you can read it in sun.
Version 2
The first EasyAdd shipped in .NET MAUI. Version 2 is a full rebuild in Flutter, adding the concrete, stairs and board-feet tools. Android follows.
